FebruaryHighlights
February may be the shortest month of the year, but it carries a powerful blend of meaning, culture, and reflection. Within these few weeks, we celebrate Valentine’s Day, Presidents’ Day, and Groundhog Day, alongside important month-long observances like Black History Month and American Heart Month. Often, February also holds major cultural and spiritual events such as the Super Bowl, Lunar New Year, and sometimes Ramadan. It is a month that highlights love, leadership, heritage, health, and community.
At our practice, we honor February by leaning into its themes of heart, connection, and reflection. We recognize the importance of celebrating diverse histories and cultures, nurturing heart health—both physical and emotional—and creating space for meaningful relationships. This month is a gentle reminder to slow down and check in with ourselves and one another.
We also hold special awareness for mothers and caregivers. Many moms find themselves carrying the emotional “mental load” for their families—remembering schedules, tending to feelings, anticipating needs, and often putting themselves last. February’s focus on the heart is a meaningful time to remind moms that their hearts matter too. Caregiving is beautiful, but it can also be heavy, and no one is meant to carry it alone.
This month, we invite you to celebrate, reflect, and care for your heart in all senses of the word. Small moments of support, rest, and connection can make a big difference—not just in February, but all year long. 💛
